Hood pins for safety, please help?
Hello, I have a 1999 Camaro and just had a fiberglass cowl hood put on. The guy said that the latch that is used is kinda cheap compared to the steel factory one and that fiberglass is really light.
He said hood pins are good for safety. We didn't have any, so I have to wait a few days.
-Is the car still pretty safe?
-Also when I buy hood pins, will this make the hood 100% safe and are all hood pins universals?
Hood pins are pretty much universal, and a darn good idea on a fiber glass hood.
