Does a car have to be perfectly level to check its oil?
Is the dip stick centered into the oil sump pan? Obviously a huge hill will effect the readings, but what what about small slopes?
Level as in not spilling a tall beverage glass filled to the normal top = level enough to get a reasonable reading. For best results the slope should be less than 1" in 10' but do not get crazy about it.
