What is the difference between an 06 CLK55 amg and an 06 CLS55 amg engine?
Other than the supercharger on the CLS, what is the difference? I'm looking to have the CLS engine installed in my CLK.
Quite a few things are different actually. Just to name a few things outside of the engine, you would need an engine control module that recognizes the boost. You would need the associated wiring that goes to the supercharger. You would need to upgrade the cooling system so it could handle the additional heat created from forced induction, etc., etc., etc.
Swapping the engines would only be the first of many steps...
