Which should I get?
I have about $1300 to spend on this little project of mine. I have an e36 bmw 328is, and I want to either supercharge or turbo it. I have found turbo kits on ebay for under the $1300 price limit, and I have also found used supercharger kits for that price as well. Which should I get? Which will be better in the long run (repairs...), and what are the benefits of each?
Keep in mind, I'm a full time student in college, and I'm paying for this outta my pocket. I can't afford to spend too much money on my baby, rent is due, and I enjoy eating when I'm hungry.
My car has 130,000 miles on it. Recently I have bought: new radiator, all new belts, new pulley system, new air intake, and some other small misc. items. My car runs like a dream, and I have many uncles whom are mechanics and help me with my projects (saving me big money!). Thanks for all your input so far!
man dont listen to dem tellin u to save ur money...u only live once..i wud go for the supercharger..turbos put more pressure on an engine than a supercharger..better in the longrun..go for it..ur money, ur car..good luck wit it..
