My 2001 ford mustang is do for a 90k mile service, which is a fairly major service according to my maintenance guide.
I'm wondering where I should get the service done. Should I go to a Ford dealership, pep boys (chain repair and maintenance shop), or a private mechanic (I don't have a regular mechanic but could find one)?
I called my local Ford Dealers Service Department and they want $580.00, which sounds like a ton of money to me, however they will include additional services such as flushing the radiator. I suppose I could tell Ford not to flush the radiator...since my maintenance guide doesn't mention it.
Try a chain oil changing shop. (Grease Monkey, etc) with a list of exactly what you want done. Should cost about half that.
