Can we fix a cracked toilet without buying a new one?
My husband cracked the tank part of the toilet after he tighten down new plumbing supplies "guts" in to it b/c it was running . Do we need to replace the tank or is there some type of glue that we can put on the little crack?
It is probably the best to purchase a new one. If by chance the crack is on the outer surface of the toilet you can buy a epoxy glue to repair the small outer crack. Check your local hardware store for the correct one to buy as there are few different for the types of material you are repairing.
If I had a pic of the crack I could better advise you.
