Tank Propane Injection

Tank Propane Injection
Converting an injection petrol engine to LPG (Propane/Butane)?

I'm currently under the impression that only minor alterations would have to be made to the engine (obviously an LPG tank/bottle would also need to be fitted).

Is this the case?

What are the alterations that would need to be made?
Dual fuel isn't required, as both of the petrol stations I use regularly have an LPG pump and almost all garages over here sell bottles of LPG.

Well Not as easy as you might think. Getting the valve that feeds the propane to the motor is usually part of the air filter assembly, If you want to run the dual fuel setup. It might be easier with just propane,no gasoline. We did our Dodge & Chevy dual fuel. I can't remember where we bought our parts, but they were made for those aplacations. Also propaine powered motors are hard on valves.See if you can find some sort of kit for the car you want to use. We had custom tanks made for the chevy and they were the most expensive part. Wish I could tell you more. But that was 30 years ago .
