my 99 nissan quest sport when i get to 60 mph starts to shake alot?
i had bought 2 new tires for the front and i drove to new york with no problem, then from n.y i drove to connecticut and i heard grinding from my passenger rear drum , so it was sunday ,and i was going to drive to chicago,so i took it to firestone ,and they well basically saw me coming ,anyways i had them put new drums, wheel cylinders, front disc and front brakes, and the driver side tie rod, which they should of put both but anyways, then they did the alignment,ok well since it was sunday they finished almost by closing time,so i left ,we got our stuff and got on the highway, there was alot of traffic , so i didn't get to 60 mph till we got closer to stamford ,ct which was an 1 1/2 from where i was at ,as soon as traffic cleared sure enough it was a bumpy ride all the way to chicago, anyways i took it to a mechanic there and he said get 2 more tires and i did same problem,i got back to florida and no one knows nothin, any advice
it sounds like you had many parts replaced, almost the whole car !!
If you originally had a grinding from one of your brake drums, it may have been caused by a rusted parking brake cable which was not freeing up the brakes when you released the parking brake lever from inside the car
I suggest that you find a good Nissan dealer and have the car thourghly inspected,
Good Luck
