I have an electra model number 88700 which I purchased from a thrift store. It didn't have the keys nor the ignition tumbler attached. I removed the plastic cover on the front handle bar post and there is an electrical connector containing three wires: blue, black and red. Im assuming the red is hot, blue is acc and black is ground? can I take a three prong toggle switch and run the wires like that to it? anyone know anything about these scooters and how to get the thing on? Thanks

joining red blue should give you nothing..
black red should give you GO...
if this works... get a switch to suit.. if you cant find one suitable... should be able to work out CCT with 2 switches..
1 to give power/GO.. 1 to Acc...
