Is it possible to have a blow off valve on a diesel turbo charged vehicle?
Why/Why not?
Yes it is posable, i have a 50mm Tial unit on my Dodge Diesel.
BD Power makes a kit called the Turbo Guard. this works well when you are at high boost levels. when you let off the accelerator pedal the excessive pressure in the intake tract will revert and push back out the compressor housing, this causes turbo bark. the BOV eliminates the pressure in the intake tract whenever the accelerator pedal is in the idle position. check out this site for more info on it.
