How to get a (Bone Stock) (1995 Z28) to atleast 310rwhp (rear wheel horsepower)?
hi i got a 1995 Z28 (all stock) and im piecing together plans to get it to lay down atleast 310hp at the wheels like its predecessor LS1 Z28's from 1998-2002 but im just gonna mod up my LT1 rather than get an LS1 i was thinking the K&N Cold Air Intake,Cam,Long Tube Headers,True Dual Exaust Syster (full exaust) (no turbo/superchargers or nos) so what you think with those mods i listed heres the stock power 275hp & 325 ft lbs tq probably less horsepower at the wheels
If you want to do it right then tuned and ported heads, stroke it, dual exhaust with the x pattern in the under body with performance mufflers (magnaflo, flowmaster, ect.) take your catalytic converter off after emissions, you can do better than K&N, Run it with E3 spark plugs and a MSD wire set, and get a new coil that can handle that set up. Long tube headers are more for older cars, yours needs back pressure or it will feel sluggish, ma be 1 1/2" rounded headers that dump into a 2 1/2" outlet, check out jegs magazine, they got great stuff.
