What is the difference between Port Fuel Injection, Direct Fuel Injection, and a Carburetor?
And also when do they put the fuel into the cylinder? I know that the Carburetor mixes fuel and gas long before it enters the cylinder, but what about the other two? And are Port Fuel Injection and Direct Fuel Injection the same thing? Thanks.
I tell ya what man this direct fuel injection is the wave of the future, look at the cars that are using it now, the new camaor v-6 producing 304 brake horse power, and the new Nissan 370z producing 332BHP its crazy its the most effecent fuel injection system in stock vehicles that have come to past. port fuel injection is an old Tech. direct injection is something new that just came out last year I don't know a lot about it because there trying to keep it to themselves but basically the Fuel injector is in the cylinder when it combusts and its exactly timed to prefect ion soo in result about 25% increase of power on a V-6
