any intake besides the stock intake is going to throw codes . the problem is the computer is trying to compensate, but does not know what you did to the car. Open the hood, look carefully at the stock factory intake, this is the bast engineered cold air intake available, also any performance gain, is between 3,500 and 5000 rpm, do you plan to run around town in that rpm range?? save your money, there are no magic sooper dooper pooper scooper chips that are worth a crap either, do not buy this slickly marketed crap a sewer pipe with an open air filter, makes more noise, but sucking air, and building power are different. its your car, don't believe me? talk to your mechanic, my mechanic had the final say, so there is no crappy plastic sewer pipe filter on my car. good luck hope it works out
