2 tank (w/timer) Culligan water softener model number needed (circa 1980's)? Purpose of 3 pipes at valve?
I have a Culligan Water Softener (circa mid to late 1980's). It has a salt storage tank and another cylinder with a valve and multiple timer wheels on top. What are the purpose of the three tubes going in and out of the valve area? Any one have a guess on the model number?
3 tubes coming out from the top of the cylinder. My best guess would be, water inlet for hard water, outlet tube for softened water, and 1 tube for the bypass. If you can take a picture and post it..........well, you know. Model number should be somewhere on the system. Look for a sticker..
Tubes could also be for brine draw, overflow, backwash.
