Costs for adjusting camber on a BMW?
Hi just a quick one, my 1997 p reg beemer is having a few problems.
The rear wheels are pointing outwards, which i am lead to believe is thec camber as the springs and dampners are fine. It has got quite severe as 1 rear tyre is constantly scraping against the arch - and yes it is lowered already 60mm on the rear and 40 mm on the front.
Just curious whether someone else had had this problem and a rough idea of cost to get it fixed?
i have searced online and got nowhere

You need to find a place that carries out a proper full 4 wheel alignment. These days I believe Kwik fit have such kit although I would only use them as a last resort. Just ring all the tyre places in your local area and find oput which ones can do it. £50 is a typical price although it could be more depending on who you go to. BMW charge over £100 to do it.
However, you have lowered your car a lot. You might find that the standard adjustment availible on the suspension is not enough to cope with how much lowering the car that far has altered the geometry.
Yopur best bet is to join one of the many BMW forums on the internet and talk to other owners who have lowered their cars this much.
