Trying to set up a street skateboard?
Alright, so I was skating today and more board, which was terrible anyway, snapped in two. I just got into this and decided I was going to try to skate street because I didn't have the interest of killing myself on half - pipes and whatnot so I've decided to just purchase an entirely new street set up board. I know I worded that wrong.
What do you reccomend on a street skateboard?
I was thinking, roughly: 7.5 Blank board (because I'm cheap and it'll just break again anyway), ABEC 5 or 7's, Thin Risers, Tiny wheels and of course shorty hardware. Could you clarify that for me? It's pretty vague..
Thank you.
Fail.. I mean "My", not "More".

Haha, that happened to my friend but he didn't care because he was using a Target board.
So first get a new board, CCS or blankdecks.com are a great place to get one, or the local skate/shred shop. Pick our a comfortable size, and if you have a budget try saving up or instead buy something cheap [Blankdecks are cheap but aren't too good]
Next, if you want thin wheels then there is pretty much no point of risers because they only protect against 'wheel bite' which is when the wheels rubs onto the board and cause scratches. (Usually only happens with very low trucks or very loose trucks.) Also the best wheels to get are Bones/Spitfires but Hubbas are nice too. I don't think you really need anything else but for trucks, go for Ventures because they're good and also cheap or Tensors and Destructos.
Reds/Bones are the best bearings out there, so if you don't have them already try them out. It takes about an hour of skating to break them in, and then you can break them in even more. (Breaking in means that the bearings are able to spin faster and longer, therefore giving you a longer drift.) Last of all, you might have had your old board snapped because you did something wrong, so make sure to be comfortable with your board before you start doing tricks.
Good luck!
