So i have a 2.5 4 cylinder wrangler. What's the best way to add power without doing an engine swap? air intake? exhaust?...let me know
You can get an exhaust upgrade that gets you maybe 5- 10 horse. You can go to a bigger TBI and get yourself a little more coupled with a high dollar air induction like a K&N setup but for the money the gains your gonna see is at most 15-20 horse. On a baby 2.5L Jeep its not made to beef up at all so if its a must have issue youll have to do an engine swap if thats what you have to have with a 4.0 and youll see more juice out of that with lots more potential to build off of. The easiest way to go is just buy another vehicle already equipped with a 4.0 or the 5.2/5.9 V8 and build off of that. When it comes to that i have some pointers to beef one of those two up but nothing for the 2.5. Its just not worth it.
